Dr. Dennis Concoby

Healing Resentment/Marriage Coach

Hi there! Let me take a second to say a little about me. I have been married to a wonderful woman since 1993. We have five wonderful children, 3 girls and 2 boys. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1996, and from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. I am a residency trained Family Medicine Physician. I love medicine. I love helping people feel better. I was reminded through some hard life lessons that there is more than one way to accomplish anything. What I have found through coaching as another MASSIVE way to help people to both live better and feel better. One of the greatest things about coaching is that through coaching, I can still impact and improve people's health.

My 26 years of marriage has brought a lot of learning, about many different subjects and topics. Especially about myself. Two of the greatest things I learned were living with intention, by making intentional choices, and being aware of my thoughts. One of the things I learned, specifically related to marriage, was that little problems, left unchecked, lead to big problems.

One of these “little things” is resentment. Hindsight has taught me that this “little thing”, when left unrecognized and unchecked, metastasizes into  a myriad of  very large problems. I learned the hard way about this growth process, and it nearly cost me my marriage and family. I have learned that in marriage, there is no such thing as unimportant little issues. I don't want anyone else to have to go through the things I did!

With these experiences and the things I have learned, I have become passionate about speaking up and teaching others about problems in marriage, especially resentment. I believe resentment lies at the heart of so much marital strife. With my own experiences, and  the many things I continue to learn, I bring a unique perspective and passion to help others recognize and avoid the same pitfalls I fell into.

TESTIMONIALS

DocDennis Coaching is the most beautiful, loving gift I could ever have given myself.

I have changed so much through this ClarityPoint program with incredible DocDennis as my guide. He is so intuitive and understanding with his coaching. You can tell he has years of knowledge and experience counseling patients as a physician, and this transfers over to coaching so perfectly. This coaching experience is truly the real deal, and was just what I needed to get my life back on track. I have become a better, more loving, more trusting me. And, I have the tools, exercises, session material, and notes for future use, which is a fantastic bonus! I can't thank you enough, DocDennis!!

HOW COACHING WORKS

FIRST - Set up one introductory appointment with a Coach and give coaching a try. See if you like it and the Claritypoint approach.

If you like it, you have a couple options:

Small Group Coaching - These groups have 4-6 women or men. The sessions are done by conference call, every other week for six months. (So you can do the program from the comfort of your home.)You spend 1.5-2 hours with your coach learning the material, having discussions and experiences together as a group. You also have daily homework in between sessions. This consists of a small reading assignment and some journal writing.  Many people love the group format because they learn so much from each other and make some great friends.  This is the most inexpensive way to experience coaching.

Executive Life Coaching - You can work with a coach one on one, meeting weekly to experience the Claritypoint process in it's most life changing format.  You will gain rock-solid self-esteem, communication and relationship skills, time management, motivation repair, and cure your fear of failure forever. This process will be customized to fit your specific needs and schedule.
