I coach couples/ families in crisis: fighting, severe neglect, physical/verbal abuse, addiction, infidelity, and communication problems; I offer you support, guidance, and tools, 24-hours a day.

I have lived a life of high conflict. I know what it’s like to live in a marriage that is in deep distress, to not know from one day to the next what home environment I would walk into. My marriage had it all—accusations of infidelity, physical abuse, pain killer addiction, communication problems that included daily screaming. What added to this distress was that we had minor children in the home and I needed to protect them from these outbursts but I felt powerless to do it. No amount of marriage therapy could stem the tide.

At that time we needed a Life Coach that specialized in high conflict marriages and families in crisis. Sometimes I needed that help in the middle of the night but I had nowhere to turn.

As a trained Life Coach, I bring valuable insight into families in deep emotional distress because I have been there; I have lived it. I have found Life Coaching to be one of the most valuable assets out there and severely underused.

For example, one of my past clients was in the midst of a volatile relationship herself. She called me in the middle of the night and I was at their home (invited, of course) within the hour. I know I was a calming force in that moment of crisis. She, her husband and I sat down together and I coached them on communication skills. It was highly effective and when I left, there was a feeling of calm and peace. If an in-person visit isn’t feasible, conference calls are also highly effective.

Another client was having severe problems with their drug addicted teen. I was called on many times to get the parents in agreement, make tough decisions, and stick with them. I know it saved their marriage. I also know the right mental health resources and professionals to use to help with addiction and mental illness issues (I am not trained to handle.)

I hold a BA from the University of Minnesota and achieved success in business before retiring at a young age. I am trained in the Clarity Point Coaching Method and I think it is invaluable to couples and families. It literally changes lives, and I know it can for you too.

"I work closely with Bill as part of our neighborhood Home Owners Association. Bill is one of my favorite neighbors. He is selfless when giving back to others, devoted to important causes, and is able to take contentious issues and moments and bring a sense of calm. Often, when emotions run high, Bill is adept at redirecting anger and returning to focus and issues that are important. He has created a sense of belonging and purpose in our group. This is a trait that is often too rare. His life coaching clients will benefit from these same skills."

-Lizzy N, American Fork UT

"I met Bill when he was raising awareness and funds for the cancer community in our city of Lehi, Utah. He is approachable, easy to talk to, fun, and positive. I am going through a contentious divorce and he has offered up sound advice on how I can deal with these issues and, when I put them to work, they have helped immensely. Dealing with difficult people under seemingly impossible circumstances can be an emotional rollercoaster. I appreciate the coaching and counseling he has often provided. It has brought more peace in my life."

-Katherine D, Pleasant Grove UT

"I am a single mother to two teenager daughters. We often argue or have disagreements and I feel helpless on how best to deal with it. Bill has offered fantastic advice. With my youngest daughter, providing attention and positive comments is creating a different child! With my older daughter, much of Bill's advice is leading to a closer, more open and trusting relationship than we have ever had. I am amazed out how effective this advice is."

-Syomara S, Long Beach CA

"Our blended family is having a hard time blending. My husband and I have started asking Bill's advice on how to open the lines of communication with our children and with each other. We now have family dinners where we talk and interview one another. We all look forward to it and it is a great forum to air out disagreements and learn to move forward more positively. The communication between my wife and I has also improved. Our arguments have gone from "frequent" to "rarely."

-Michelle P, Sandy UT

"Bill and I have a long standing relationship which started in 2003 when I was starting my business. My wife Heather and I live and work in Bill's hometown of Mankato, MN. We were introduced to Bill by a mutual friend who felt that we would make good partners, and ultimately very good friends. Our start-up business plan was very near completion when we met, and it was Bill who provided us with the guidance we needed to bring the project to fruition. Bills business experience and professionalism provided us with a keen set of eyes on our business plan. His visualizing approach and skilled ability to look through our obstacles, changed the way we looked at our vision, and this is what brought all of the pieces together for us. We have grown our business 10 fold throughout the years and we owe an incredible amount of gratitude to Bill and his amazing creativity, mindfulness, and genuine spirit for success and responsibility. Thanks Bill!"

- Brad Bass, Mankato MN

HOW COACHING WORKS

FIRST - Set up one introductory appointment with a Coach and give coaching a try. See if you like it and the Claritypoint approach.

If you like it, you have a couple options:

Small Group Coaching - These groups have 4-6 women or men. The sessions are done by conference call, every other week for six months. (So you can do the program from the comfort of your home.)You spend 1.5-2 hours with your coach learning the material, having discussions and experiences together as a group. You also have daily homework in between sessions. This consists of a small reading assignment and some journal writing.  Many people love the group format because they learn so much from each other and make some great friends.  This is the most inexpensive way to experience coaching.

Executive Life Coaching - You can work with a coach one on one, meeting weekly to experience the Claritypoint process in it's most life changing format.  You will gain rock-solid self-esteem, communication and relationship skills, time management, motivation repair, and cure your fear of failure forever. This process will be customized to fit your specific needs and schedule.
