Lacy Alajna Bentley

Professional Life Coach and Recovery Mentor

My Dear Potential Client,

Welcome to Women’s Recovery Coaching and Mentorship

I have been mentoring and encouraging women with compulsive, self-destructive behaviors since 2000. For the first five years, I co-ran 12 step groups for individuals with eating disorders, taught school counselors, nurses, coaches, and teachers how to identify and help students with eating disorders. Most of this was done for the Clark County School District. This was incredibly fulfilling, but my favorite part was speaking to assemblies of Jr. High and High School students. The assemblies were focused on overcoming eating disorders and challenging media views of femininity and body image. This involvement kicked my own recovery from anorexia nervosa in to high gear, and I now have nearly 17 years’ freedom from my own eating disorder. It was not perfect, but it is great recovery that I love to share.

After moving to Utah, I became involved in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program and Pornography Addiction Support Groups. After a year, I began sponsoring and mentoring other women, facilitating a meeting there for nearly two years. My own recovery from compulsive relationship behaviors has been a great blessing. Once again, I love sharing the tools that have brought recovery to myself and others. Recovery and healing is still ongoing, and I have learned a great deal through multiple programs and intensive research into female relationship and addiction dynamics. These tools have been an invaluable resource in helping other women overcome challenges associated with compulsive behaviors and obsessive thought patterns that feed addictive, destructive cycles. I now coach these women professionally, sharing what I have learned.

The main focus in recovery needs to be overcoming fear-driven faulty core beliefs and behavioral patterns. For this reason, I chose Clarity Point Certified Coaching as the platform for guiding others. This program offers the best recovery tools in a format that supports overall growth and mental health for dedicated clients. Added to my degree in Psychology and personal research, this makes me a powerful and well-skilled Coach and Mentor.

The reason I now charge for mentorship revolves around the human need to create value. It has become clear that a financial and time-based commitment leads to deeper, longer lasting recovery. Women who make this commitment push themselves further, and reach deeper to achieve what they truly want: deep, integrity filled connection with loved ones and the world. A woman who is willing to do whatever it takes to gain not only sobriety, but real recovery from compulsive behaviors, is a woman who will succeed where others have been unable.

I would love to work with you in overcoming your own destructive relationship patterns and compulsive behaviors. As a woman in recovery, I understand the fear, worry, and hopelessness that often accompany recovery efforts. I know how scary the first step can be. Right now, I encourage you to click the link on this page that takes you to the free assessment. We will use this information on our journey together. There is no obligation to enter a coaching contract. I will contact you with a day or two for a no-cost consultation, and to answer your questions. If, after that call, we both feel we are a good fit, excellent. If not, I am happy to offer a few suggestions for coaches, resources, or therapists I feel may be a better fit for you. This is your journey, after all. It needs to work for you.

You can do this, and I’d love to walk the journey with you. Be fearless and take the first step to a new way of interacting with the world!

FIRST - Set up one introductory appointment with a Coach and give coaching a try. See if you like it and the Claritypoint approach.

If you like it, you have a couple options:

Small Group Coaching - These groups have 4-6 women or men. The sessions are done by conference call, every other week for six months. (So you can do the program from the comfort of your home.)You spend 1.5-2 hours with your coach learning the material, having discussions and experiences together as a group. You also have daily homework in between sessions. This consists of a small reading assignment and some journal writing.  Many people love the group format because they learn so much from each other and make some great friends.  This is the most inexpensive way to experience coaching.

Executive Life Coaching - You can work with a coach one on one, meeting weekly to experience the Claritypoint process in it's most life changing format.  You will gain rock-solid self-esteem, communication and relationship skills, time management, motivation repair, and cure your fear of failure forever. This process will be customized to fit your specific needs and schedule.
